I was not aware of the studio Frosty Pop until I saw they worked with Strange Scaffold on I Am Your Beast. Immediately after following them on Twitter, I saw a post for The Get Out Kids they originally released on Apple Arcade, now coming to the iOS App Store. I wanted to share the things that stood out from the post and why we are here.
Sneak out in the middle of the night and see what happens. Pre-order The Get Out Kids now.
No ads. No IAP. Free.- Frosty Pop
No ads. No IAP. Free. With mobile gaming, that isn’t something you hear all that often, so I checked out some of the game, and it looks fantastic. The Get Out Kids is a narrative puzzle experience. You experience the story through a 3D diorama, and it's recommended to play on the iPad, though it will be available on iOS as well. It fits the spooky vibes of Halloween perfectly and comes out just days before the holiday.

With The Ballad of Bellum, I had seen friends on threads sharing clips, and for some reason, I thought I was following them because of that. But when I saw that they just released the Steam page and a teaser trailer, I had to share. It looks like the 2D/3D remakes we've seen popularized with Octopath Traveler, but it seems to play like The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past. After reading that last sentence, how are you still here and not wishlisting it right now?

🗓️Release Date | To be announced
Originally released in 2022, the developer Moswig has recently updated the game to 2.0. I saw a clip a good friend of mine shared with me and was blown away by the visual style. Torii is an adventure game with puzzles and stealth mechanics.
The story revolves around the journey one takes when faced with the loss of a loved one. The world you explore has odd creatures and beautiful landscapes that I can only describe as a mature version of Journey. I am currently playing and writing the review, so I will update you all soon on my full experience.
I have a Steam key for Torii to give away to one lucky subscriber! Make sure to comment on this post to get entered into the contest and ensure you are subscribed! I will pick a winner in a week and shout them out in next week’s Friday Follow-UP.

Crowdfunding Checkpoint
Natsu Kaze (James) has been working on the game Maple Forest completely solo, and when I hear these types of things, I am always blown away by the sheer beauty of the visuals, soundtrack, and design. The Game Boy-esque color palette and Zelda vibes are outstanding.
The Kickstarter campaign was funded on its first day, and I couldn’t help but send my backing as well. Make sure to follow James on his social pages. He shares development of the game and details and has a great sense of humor.
It’s an action RPG where you adventure on an island that is mysteriously sinking. You are tasked with climbing a mountain where it's believed the god that watches over the residents of the island resides.

Quest Vibes
Prodigal is the predecessor to Veritus a dungeon crawling Zelda-like released this year and I recently review you can read here. I just picked it up and started it a few days ago and immediately looked for the soundtrack. It is brilliant and I am excited to dig deeper into Prodigal.

Quest Loot
Undertale is one of the most celebrated indie titles of the last decade. It was a passion project that fueled the solo development discussion, considering it sold over a million copies with only a small contribution from another artist. It’s been 9 years since its release, so to celebrate, Fan Gamer and Toby Fox are collaborating on a Kitchen Collection. It will be a perfect present for the upcoming holidays.
Toby Fox is busy working on chapters 3, 4, and 5 of Deltarune, of which you can get the first 2 chapters now on Steam. Make sure you look around Fangamer because they have an enormous amount of Deltarune and Undertale merch!
